Who we are

What we collect

Enquiry and subscription forms. When you send an enquiry or subscribe to updates, we receive the name and email address you enter, along with anything you write in the message. That submission is delivered to us by email so a person can answer it.

Comments on articles. If you comment on an article, WordPress records the name and email address you supply, together with your IP address and browser user-agent string, which are used to detect spam.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server access logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested. These are operational records used to keep the site running and secure.

What we do not do

This site carries no analytics service, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking script of any kind. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies; WordPress may set a cookie only if you leave a comment, so your details are filled in next time. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We hold what you send us so that we can reply to you and, where you have asked for it, keep you informed about our portfolio. Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Subscription details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us using it, or ask us to stop sending you updates at any time. Write to us through the contacts page and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts doing something new with personal information, this page is updated to say so before that change takes effect.
